Care guide

With the right care, your bag will stay as beautiful as on the first day for many years.

Storage

• Keep the bag in the dust bag supplied, if there is one – otherwise in a breathable cotton bag, never in plastic.
• Fill the bag with acid-free tissue paper so that it keeps its shape.
• Store it upright, in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heating.
• Do not hang the bag by its handles or straps, to avoid stretching.

Smooth leather

• Remove dust and light dirt with a soft, dry microfibre cloth.
• Occasionally use a colourless care product suitable for the leather – test it on an inconspicuous spot first.
• Avoid contact with water, oils, perfume, cosmetics and hand cream. Let wet leather dry at room temperature, never with a hairdryer or on a radiator.

Suede & nubuck

• Clean with a soft suede brush in the direction of the nap.
• Protect with a suitable waterproofing spray before first use and avoid moisture.

Canvas & coated materials

• Wipe with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth, then wipe dry.
• Do not use solvents, alcohol or cleaning agents.

Metal hardware

• Polish with a dry, soft cloth; avoid contact with moisture and perfume.
