Every STERK design begins with an actual Kurdish textile motif — the dense floral gulî work found on traditional scarves, dresses, and household textiles across Kurdistan. We work from these sources rather than generic "ethnic" clip art.
The details
- Flag colours used properly. Red, white, green, and the golden sun — placed as trim, collar, and cuff detail rather than printed flat across the chest.
- Full-surface printing. Patterns run across the shoulder and sleeve as a continuous design, not a rectangle stuck on a blank shirt.
- Built to last. Heavyweight fabric, reinforced seams, and prints that survive repeated washing.
What we won't do
We won't flatten Kurdish heritage into a novelty item. No cartoon versions of traditional dress, no motifs used without understanding what they mean or where they come from.
Sizing and fit
All pieces run XS through XXL. If you're between sizes, size up — our cuts are designed to sit relaxed rather than tight.
